(2019) The Oldman Watershed Council
We’re thrilled to announced the 3rd Alberta Benefit Brew release in honour of Zoe’s Animal Rescue Society. This Cascadian Dark Ale pours a dark ruby brown with a light tan froth. Aromas of freshly roasted coffee and toasted malts are balanced by sharper spiced notes of pine and herbs from the Cascadian and Zeus hops. The bitterness upfront yields to a crisp dry finish. This beer is brewed exclusively for the Zoe’s Animal Rescue Society, a volunteer run organization that fosters, rehabilitates and rehomes hundreds of animals a year. Full proceeds from the sale of the beer (~$10,000) will be donated to Zoe’s Animal Rescue Society.
Pouring a deep brown colour, this lightly roasted oatmeal brown ale has aromas of freshly baked bread that finishes dry with a smooth caramel sweetness. This beer is brewed exclusively for the Edmonton Area Land Trust (EALT), a group dedicated to protecting natural areas and preserving biodiversity for future generations to come.
The Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society was named the 2014 Alberta Benefit Brew winner! Pouring a deep earthy brown colour with a generous dose of wheat, roasted flavours are wrapped in a smooth malt body that finish dry. Full proceeds from the sale of this beer went to rescuing and providing care to animals in need.
